The Brooks Carr is given in honor of Former Easley Head Coach and Easley Mayor William A. Carr and Easley Business Man and Community Supporter, Mr. Walter "Dub" Brooks.  Both of these gentlemen provided great leadership and vision that united the Easley Community and established a model for success that drew respect and praise throughout the State of South Carolina.  The award is given annually to a varsity football player at Easley High School and includes a one-time $1,000 scholarship.  This award is presented to a team player that shows tremendous team leadership, has above average grades, is involved in other activities and clubs at EHS and is active in the community.
